When we talk one thing and do
another, where is our Integrity?
When we give our word to attend an event, then don't show up because
we just did not feel like it, where is our Integrity?
When we join groups just for their field trips and decide not to
abide by their rules, where is our Integrity?
When we reserve places for field trips and don't call to let them
know we need to cancel, where is our Integrity?
When we go to field trips, not adhering to their rules and age
limits, where is our Integrity?
When we pay for one person and feed 3, where is our Integrity?
Integrity:
1) adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral
character, honesty
2) the state of being whole, entire, or undiminished;
3) a sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition; as in: the hull of the
ship had integrity.
So when we do not keep our Integrity, does that, in fact, make us
less than whole and diminished, does it make us not in perfect
condition? When we do not keep our Integrity, what do our
little ones see? Do they in fact see someone who is less than whole
or diminished? Do they see a bad example?
Love covers all (I Cor. 13) It is Love which helps us to
forgive and cover the lack of Integrity among our members.
Love also helps to heal and make whole those who are lacking in any
good thing. Love forgives, and when we come to the Father, He
forgives our shortcomings.
But we need to also repent, turn around our shortcomings, and be
people of Integrity to the World.
