Hi group-

I thought this was so neat and wanted to share it. My husband was taking our two boys to spend the night with my parents today. On the way the boys were coloring in the back-seat, when my youngest asked my oldest what color a chicken was. My oldest then went into great detail about different breeds of chickens and basically gave him a lesson on chickens.

Then when they got to where they were going to meet my parents, there was a farmhouse with a big group of chickens out front! So he got to see firsthand! It just made me realize how everyday our children get live and learn firsthand. I am still trying to figure when we learned so much about chickens! By the way they are 8 and 5.
